The Cultural Survival of the Yao

The cultural survival of the Yao can be somewhat complicated. Through research I have come to the conclusion that the Yao had to struggle to keep their land from nasty landlords and the government coming in and beginning a war with the Yao. The Yao always fought back but many did die and they always had to keep migrating. It was not until the People Republic was founded that they found relief.
